About us
VVOSA (VAW / VRC Officers Spouses’ Association) is a 100% volunteer organization. It was created to provide scholarships for the children of the VAW / VRC community. The Memorial Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships for the dependents of our fallen aviators who have lost their lives in an E-2/C-2 mishap. The Merit Fund provides educational scholarships for any dependent of a Hawkeye/Greyhound service member.
I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to apply for the scholarship due to my father's honorable service in the world's finest United States Navy.
I am so incredibly grateful for this scholarship which has helped me towards not only my college education at the University of Minnesota but also my future career.
My parents instilled the importance of serving others into my values, which is why I am excited to be a teacher after graduating.
