Words cannot describe the amount of gratefulness I have for being a recipient of this prestigious scholarship. Thank you for this opportunity to help me finance my college education. I appreciate this support as it takes significant load off me and my parents. This scholarship means much more to me than just a financial blessing because it grants me the ability to fully focus on getting my education. This scholarship has helped reduce the amount of stress I feel about ways to pay for college. Being able to participate in work study daily is extremely difficult but rewarding for a student-athlete with a hectic schedule. Whit this scholarship, I am alleviated from sentiment of stress due to financial reasons. Through my arduous work as a student and athlete, I will illustrate how much I genuinely value your support. One of my biggest concerns of attending college was the financial burden I would be putting on my family. This scholarship holds lots of significance to my family and I as my parents are still in the process of raising my younger brother. Earning this scholarship helps my brother have the same opportunities I was given in high school. Additionally, earning this scholarship is a way for me to give back to my parents after all the time and effort they put into raising me and providing everything I needed. Thank you for assisting me in my endeavor to matriculate my degree. Earning my degree sets the foundation for the next pivotal steps I will take in my life.
