Audrey Litkowski

This scholarship means so much to me and I am so honored to have been chosen as the recipient of the VAW/VRC Merit Scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year. Thanks to last year’s John & Karen Griffing scholarship, my first year in South Bend, Indiana has been filled with plenty of new and enriching experiences. At Saint Mary’s, I have greatly enjoyed this first year of pre-nursing classes. I have met so many wonderful people and created countless friendships that I will treasure for the rest of my life. I am so excited to begin clinicals and working in the hospital next year, and to dive even deeper into nursing school – all of which is made possible by my reception of this scholarship. The proximity to the University of Notre Dame has provided me with so many opportunities; I have joined several tri-campus clubs and enjoyed so many sporting events. I am greatly looking forward to what the next few years here will bring. Thank you so much again.
