Carl Reed

The Wings Over America and VAW / VRC scholarships are door openers. After having been at JMU for a year now, I have a greater appreciation for the scholarships I have received in the past. These scholarships give me the continued independence to further my pursuit of excellence in both academics and sports. This freedom allows me to fully commit myself to everything I do and to aggressively pursue my education.

These scholarships takes a burden off my family and my shoulders and provides a gateway into a student loan free future. I am beyond grateful and honored to have been selected this year.
