Anna Heaton

Being a recipient of this scholarship means so incredibly much to me. I am inspired every day by the passion and drive of every many and woman who serves in our military and it has truly allowed me to foster and develop my own passion in life. Since I can remember, my brother wanted to fly jets like Dad had, and that always drove me to discover my own dream, the thing that made me as excited as he was when he saw a plane. I believe that my purpose is to make people feel loved. Children make me feel the way that I strive to make others feel and I have come to realize that my passion is for caring for and loving children. In receiving this scholarship, I feel even more drive in my academic pursuit of science, medicine, and child development and I am so grateful to this organization for believing in me.
