Brendan Fahey

I am very honored and grateful to receive a scholarship from the Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation. This scholarship will help me continue my journey as a student, as a leader, and as a servant to others. I am fully committed to excelling both academically and within my community next year at the University of South Carolina. Not only is this scholarship a great financial help for my family and me, but it is also a reflection of my many accomplishments in high school, which I am humbled that the WOASF recognized and appreciated. Receiving this scholarship would not be possible without my father’s many years of dedication and service in the US Navy. As a Naval Aviator, the passion he had for his job and relentless dedication to his country never went unnoticed. I would like to thank him for being a role model to me and for setting an example of a strong character that I strive to follow. Once again, thank you to WOASF for their recognition of military families and for granting me such an amazing scholarship.
