It is with heartfelt gratitude that I would like to thank the VAW/ VRC Merit Scholarship program and all the service members, donors, and volunteers who make these generous student opportunities possible year after year. Our country’s future depends on the sacrificial dedication of those in the Hawkeye/Greyhound community and our exceptional military men and women who serve so faithfully. I am honored to be part of that community by being selected as the VAW/VRC Closeout 602 merit scholarship recipient for 2023. Receiving this scholarship will allow me to stay focused and committed to my studies while also striving to remain financially responsible throughout my college career. Pursuing my passion for molecular biology at Cedarville University and representing the VAW/VRC Merit Scholarship program by promoting the values of integrity, service, and excellence are my highest priorities.
