Emma Driggs

As part of a Navy family, and having a father who served in the E-2 community while flying in the E-2D at VX-20 in Pax River, MD, I understand the sacrifices that military families make over and over again to support and protect our country. Being recognized for the VAW/VRC Merit Scholarship means a lot to me since my dad is a naval aviator, and I experienced these sacrifices first-hand as I grew up. It is an honor to be recognized as a proud member of this amazing E-2 and C-2 community. I want the WOASF scholarship committee to know how grateful I am for this scholarship and how much it will help me as I begin my college journey at Georgetown University. I will continue to uphold the values of the military through service and hard work in my years ahead.
