I am truly honored to be selected as a recipient of a VAW/VRC Merit. Receiving this scholarship affirms that my hard work and diligence have been recognized and encourages me to strive for even greater academic and professional excellence. Financial support from the foundation will relieve some of the pressure created by the cost of higher education tuition. As I enter my senior year of college, this scholarship will enable me to complete my degree in Maritime and Supply Chain Management and begin a purposeful, passionate career in the industry. Additionally, I can spend my time volunteering and engaging in career building extracurriculars to set myself up for success post-graduation. Upon completing my degree, I plan to lead a meaningful career where I make a difference in the greater logistics community. This scholarship not only provides financial support, it also symbolizes the foundation’s confidence in my goals and career aspirations, and for that, I am truly grateful.
