Zachariah Brewer

First and foremost, I want to thank those who sacrificed everything in the pursuit of the defense of our country. They are who this fund represents, and I am honored and humbled to even be eligible for this award, let alone receive it. For those who have contributed to this scholarship fund, thank you for your support. I feel a sense of duty, knowing that my academic career should reflect what this award stands for. I have a sense of pride, knowing that my hard work has paid off, and that people believe that I can make a difference. This scholarship will allow me to further my education by attending the University of South Florida in the fall of 2022, majoring in Business Management. I pray that I will be able to positively impact those around me on and off campus, and throughout the rest of my life. Someday, I want to be able to positively impact those around me on and off campus, and throughout the rest of m life. Someday, I want to be able to make a return investment on what has been given to me through this scholarship. Until then, the only things I can do are work hard, treat everyone I meet with respect, and live life in a way that would make the VAW/VRC community proud.
